Musical Theater Returns to Main Street
Friends of Main Street and All About Theatre, together with our Principal, Staff, and SUESD, are thrilled to bring back acting, music, and dance to the students of Main Street Elementary. This exciting after-school program is offered at no cost to Main Street Elementary students, up to 40 students per session. FOMS will strive to ensure that all students who wish to enroll are able to, e.g., by offering a theatre fundraiser if needed.
All About Theatre has produced 150+ shows and specializes in teaching acting, music and dance to children from 3 years+. Founder and Executive Director Lindsey Chester won a Nextie for her incredible and ongoing impact in Santa Cruz.

Grades TK, K, 1 and 2 Session, Fridays after school, November 19 through February 17: Introduction in a fun, supportive, & exciting way, everyone plays & participates. Young actor will learn how to use their voice to tell a story, create characters with their bodies, ignite their imagination and work together to put on a mini-musical for family and friends. Approximately 1 hour, to be finalized.
Grades 3, 4 and 5 Session, Fridays after school, February 24 through May 5: Students will learn acting, singing, and dancing while rehearsing a musical! If your student is new to theater, our skilled teaching artists will work ensure every child feels welcome and builds skills and confidence. Let’s put on a show! All levels welcome. Approximately 90 minutes, to be finalized.
