These are two fund raisers which traditionally happen early in the school year each year. For the last two years they have been combined.

The Fall Fund Drive

The Fall Fund Drive simply asks parents for direct donations to Friends of Main Street to be used to support the school's art, music, science, and computer programs among other valuable enrichment programs. Friends of Main feels that a direct donation is easier on families than asking our students to sell the traditional, overpriced, candy, gift wrap, or magazines door to door.

Toyota of Santa Cruz Raffle

The raffle is a county wide fund raising effort led by Toyota of Santa Cruz. Toyota donates a car and solicits many other donations from businesses around the county. They then allow any school who wishes to participate to sell tickets for these raffle prizes, the school(s) keep all of the money from ticket sales.

We have combined these two fund raisers by giving parents the option of receiving raffle tickets for their donations to the Fall Fund Drive, usually Friends of Main volunteers help in filling out raffle tickets to encourage larger donations. This year we were very pleased to have a Main Street parent as the Grand Prize winner!
